Overview
Speech Language Pathologist travel assignment in Middletown, Rhode Island. Start date 06/01/2026 for 14 weeks. Weekly pay range $2,177–$2,241 per week. Guaranteed hours 35 per week. Shift: 5x8 days with hours from 08:00 to 16:30. Work setting is a long-term care environment. This temporary travel assignment is managed by Healthforce Healthcare LLC.

Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive speech-language pathology evaluations for residents in the long-term care setting and interpret results to guide care planning.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans addressing communication, cognitive-communication, and swallowing needs; monitor progress and adjust goals as appropriate.
- Provide direct therapy services to residents and document clinical progress in the medical record; communicate findings to the care team.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to coordinate rehabilitation goals, discharge planning, and referrals for augmentative and alternative communication or feeding strategies.
- Educate residents, families, and staff on communication strategies, swallowing safety, and ongoing care plans while ensuring privacy and regulatory compliance.
- Maintain therapy equipment and clinical areas, participate in quality improvement activities, and uphold credentialing and facility policies.

Requirements
- Active state license as a Speech-Language Pathologist or eligibility for licensure in Rhode Island.
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Experience in long-term care or geriatric populations preferred.
- Ability to work 35 hours per week; availability for a 08:00–16:30 shift (5x8 days).
- Ability to pass background checks and credentialing requirements; eligible to work in the United States.
