Overview
Speech Language Pathologist – Travel assignment in Windsor, Virginia. Start date 06/08/2026. 13-week assignment in a skilled nursing environment. Guaranteed 35 hours per week with a dayshift schedule from 08:00 to 16:30. Weekly pay range: $1,986–$2,122.

Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of speech, language, cognitive-communication, voice, resonance, and swallowing as part of evaluation and plan development.
- Implement and monitor individualized treatment plans, delivering evidence-based therapy and documenting progress notes.
- Provide feeding and swallowing evaluations and therapy, addressing safety and appropriateness of diet and textures.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to align goals and optimize resident outcomes; communicate effectively with families and caregivers as appropriate.
- Maintain accurate documentation, meet regulatory requirements, and comply with privacy and facility policies.

Requirements
- Active Virginia state license to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) or eligibility (preferred)
- 1 year of clinical experience in skilled nursing facility or long-term care settings (preferred)
- Ability to work a travel assignment and manage scheduling in a senior care environment
