Overview
Speech Language Pathologist with Acute Care specialization is needed for a travel assignment in Franklin, New Hampshire. The position starts on 08/31/2026 and runs for 13 weeks. Compensation ranges from $2,510 to $2,695 per week with guaranteed hours of 35 per week. Responsibilities
- Conduct clinical evaluations of speech, language, cognitive-communication, voice, and swallowing function for residents in the facility.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans with measurable goals; monitor progress and adjust as needed.
- Deliver speech-language pathology services according to the plan of care; document treatment, progress notes, and discharge planning.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team (nursing, rehabilitation, social work) to support resident goals and care plans.
- Provide education to residents and families on communication strategies and safe swallowing techniques; train facility staff as appropriate.
- Ensure accurate charting and compliance with regulatory and reimbursement requirements; maintain timely and complete documentation.

Requirements
- Ability to work in a skilled nursing facility setting and participate in an acute care-oriented rehabilitation environment.
- Demonstrated ability to assess and treat speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders.
- Strong documentation skills and adherence to regulatory standards.
- Effective collaboration with multidisciplinary teams and support staff.
- Availability for a 5x8 shift (08:00–16:30) with guaranteed hours per week.
