Overview
Position: Sonographer / Ultrasound Tech, Ultrasound specialty, located in Cambridge, Massachusetts. This travel assignment starts on 08/10/2026 and runs for 7 weeks with guaranteed hours. Weekly pay ranges from $1,721 to $1,886 per week. Shift pattern is 2x2 Nights, with 24-hour shifts on Sundays, Mondays, Fridays, and Saturdays to cover vacations and the 24-hour position. The role is in a hospital setting, performing inpatient and outpatient ultrasound in Radiology and floating to multiple regional sites as needed.

Responsibilities
- Perform general ultrasound examinations and specialized studies as described in the job notes, including small parts, vascular (lower and upper extremity), OB/GYN fetal surveys (1st–3rd trimesters), and select pediatric studies (hips, spine, head, pylorus, intussusception)
- Conduct inpatient and outpatient ultrasound in Radiology, adhering to department protocols and quality standards
- Prepare and label exams, acquire diagnostic-quality images, and optimize image quality for interpretation
- Document findings and ensure accurate data entry in the EMR (EPIC experience preferred)
- Communicate effectively with radiology and clinical teams; participate in cross-site coverage as assigned
- Maintain patient safety, comfort, and positioning during examinations

Requirements
- ARDMS RDMS certification required at submission
- AHA BLS certification required at submission
- Minimum 3+ years of ultrasound specialty experience
- Ability to perform general, small parts, vascular, OB/GYN fetal surveys (1st–3rd trimester), and select pediatric studies
- EPIC EMR experience preferred
- Willingness to float to multiple regional sites to cover inpatient/outpatient exams
- Active driver's license with address matching demographics
- Flu vaccine as per seasonal requirements; RTO requests must be noted at submission and may not be guaranteed after confirmation
