Sonographer — Ultrasound imaging with Echo and Vascular focus in Batesville, AR, United States
Start date: 06/22/2026 | Duration: 13 weeks | Weekly pay: $2,542–$2,620 per week | Guaranteed hours: 40 per week | Shift: Days (8-hour shifts) Tue–Fri 11:00 a.m.–7:30 p.m. and Sat 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m.
This travel assignment supports an inpatient imaging service within a health system.

Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality ultrasound exams with emphasis on echocardiography and vascular studies
- Conduct studies including TTE, TEE, stress echo, venous reflux exams, venous Doppler, carotid Doppler, arterial Doppler, and ABI; assist with related procedures (pericardiocentesis, thrombin injections) as applicable
- Image optimization, patient preparation, and documentation in MediTech EMR
- Manage workload during high-volume periods, communicate pending exams to colleagues, and assist other technologists as needed
- Maintain equipment and supplies, ensure cleanliness and disinfection between patients, and follow department policies
- Respond to on-call or call-back per policy, arriving within 30 minutes when requested
- Maintain professional relationships with patients, physicians, and interdepartmental staff; participate in required in-services

Requirements
- Active ARDMS certification
- Active American Heart Association BLS certification
- 2+ years of ultrasound experience with Echo and vascular capabilities
- Proficiency in echocardiography with Definity contrast and comprehensive vascular studies (including TTE, TEE, stress echo, venous and arterial assessments, carotid, ABI)
- MediTech EMR experience
- Ability to start IV
- Two supervisory references submitted within the last two years
- Geographic eligibility: The assignment requires applicants to reside outside 90 miles of Batesville; applicants between 90 and 150 miles may be reviewed but might not be selected
