Traveling Solar Site Surveyor

Fully Remote | Travel Required | Competitive Pay + Travel Benefits

We're looking for a Traveling Solar Site Surveyor who thrives on adventure, enjoys working independently, and is excited to help launch new markets across the country. In this role, you'll serve as the first boots on the ground in expanding territories, completing residential site surveys and supporting project development until permanent local teams are established.

What You'll Do

• Travel extensively to newly launched markets across the United States
• Perform residential solar site surveys for upcoming installations
• Collect accurate measurements, photographs, electrical information, and roof data
• Document site conditions and identify potential installation challenges
• Upload complete and accurate survey reports for engineering and operations teams
• Help establish efficient survey operations in new territories
• Support local hiring efforts by maintaining survey production until permanent field teams are in place
• Partner with Project Management, Engineering, Permitting, and Operations to ensure projects move forward efficiently
• Maintain company equipment and represent SpartanX professionally while working with homeowners

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience performing residential site surveys, inspections, construction measurements, or solar field work preferred
• Solar experience strongly preferred
• Comfortable traveling extensively, including overnight travel
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Ability to climb ladders and safely access residential roofs when required
• Comfortable using mobile technology, mapping software, and survey applications
