Travel RN Emergency Room (Muskegon, MI)

Location: Muskegon, Michigan

Shift/Schedule: 3 shifts per week, 3:00 PM to 3:30 AM (36 hours per week)

Pay/Compensation: $48.45 to $50.45 per hour

About the Role

A leading regional healthcare provider known for patient-centric care is seeking a Travel RN, Emergency Room, for its Emergency Department in Muskegon. You will implement and monitor patient care plans and coordinate care across disciplines. This 13-week assignment suits an ER nurse who works well on extended shifts.

Assignment Details

• Contract assignment, 3 months with possible extension
• Work setting: onsite
• Openings: 1
• Anticipated start: immediate start

Core Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor patient care plans
• Monitor, record and communicate patient condition as appropriate
• Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care
• Note and carry out physician and nursing orders
• Assess and coordinate patient discharge planning needs with the healthcare team

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of recent emergency room RN experience
• Active RN license valid in Michigan (confirmed during screening)
• Strong triage and assessment skills
• Ability to work 3 shifts per week, 3:00 PM to 3:30 AM

Preferred Qualifications

• BLS, ACLS and TNCC certification
• Trauma center experience
• Epic or similar charting system experience
• Travel or contract assignment experience
• Strong references from recent nurse managers
