Overview
Respiratory Therapist with a specialty designation (Zzz Respiratory Therapist) is needed for a travel assignment in Lawrenceville, Georgia, United States. The start date is 06/22/2026 with an expected duration of 13 weeks. The position offers a weekly pay range of $1,492 to $1,568 and guaranteed hours of 36 per week. The shift is 2x3 Days. This assignment is in a clinical inpatient care environment. Note: No local candidates within 50 miles will be considered.

Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive respiratory care assessments and monitor patient response to therapies
- Administer respiratory treatments and medications per physician orders (e.g., bronchodilators, humidified therapies)
- Manage and adjust ventilation for patients requiring mechanical support; monitor ventilator function and alarms
- Conduct arterial blood gas collection and analysis and interpret results to guide therapy
- Operate and troubleshoot respiratory equipment, including suctioning devices and oxygen delivery systems
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans; document findings and progress accurately

Requirements
- Active license: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) licensed in Georgia by the Georgia Composite Medical Board
- Certification: NBRC – RRT; American Heart Association BLS; ACLS and PALS certifications
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience within the respiratory care specialty
- Education: Graduation from an accredited respiratory therapy program (as required for licensure)
- Ability to work in a inpatient clinical setting and meet assignment requirements
