Respiratory Therapist – Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT/CRT) sought for a travel assignment in Tillamook, Oregon. Start date 09/14/2026 for 13 weeks. Night shift, 3x12-hour nights (6:00 PM–6:30 AM), with guaranteed 36 hours per week. Work setting is a 25-bed, rural, critical access hospital serving adult and geriatric patients. Weekly pay ranges from $1,899 to $2,021.

Responsibilities
- Assess and document the appropriateness of prescribed respiratory therapy and make recommendations as needed.
- Administer aerosolized therapies and supplemental oxygen; monitor patient response and adjust as appropriate.
- Provide care for ventilated patients, including initiation, management, and weaning per policies and physician orders.
- Draw arterial blood gases per policy and physician orders; document results and ensure timely reporting.
- Perform and document routine respiratory procedures; contribute to patient care planning and care coordination.
- Maintain accurate electronic medical records and charge documentation for treatments rendered; support department record-keeping and training of new staff as assigned.
Requirements
- Licensure and certifications: NBRC-RRT or NBRC-CRT credential; Oregon State Respiratory Therapist license (RCP/RRT); Polysomnographic (RT-P) license required in Oregon.
- Certifications: BLS required; ACLS required; PALS required; CPR or BLS certification from approved vendor; NRP preferred.
- Experience: At least two years of recent respiratory therapy experience; three years preferred.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Respiratory Therapy or equivalent (Master’s degree preferred).
- Additional: Must have EPIC EMR experience and neonatal care experience; ability to work night shift in a rural hospital setting.
