Overview
Registered Respiratory Therapist travel assignment in Kealakekua, Hawaii. Start date: 08/31/2026 for 13 weeks. Nights shift with approximately 36 hours per week. Weekly pay: $2,366–$2,432. Work setting is a healthcare facility providing acute care services in a travel temporary assignment.

Responsibilities
- Provide full respiratory therapy care for patients of all ages, including assessment and intervention planning.
- Administer and monitor inhalation therapies, oxygen therapy, aerosol treatments, chest physiotherapy, and airway clearance techniques.
- Operate and monitor respiratory equipment, including ventilators and noninvasive ventilation devices; perform suctioning as needed.
- Document assessments, treatments, and patient responses; adjust plans based on clinical progress.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and the care team to optimize patient outcomes and ensure patient safety.
- Maintain infection control standards and perform routine equipment maintenance and safety checks.

Requirements
- Active Respiratory Therapist license for the assignment location or eligibility for licensure per state regulations.
- Certification as Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) preferred.
- Ability to provide care to patients of all ages (pediatric through geriatric) in a fast-paced setting.
- Proficiency with ventilators, oxygen therapies, airway management, and related respiratory care equipment.
- Reference checks will be conducted via email; phone calls for references should be avoided.
- Availability to work a nights schedule on a 13-week travel assignment.
