Overview
Respiratory Therapist – Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) position in Burlington, VT, starting 08/06/2026 for a 4-week travel assignment. Weekly pay range: $1,897–$2,036 per week. Guaranteed hours: none. Shift: 3x12 Night shifts. Work setting: inpatient, acute care environment including Adult ICU and adult/pediatric general units; ED involvement preferred but not required.

Responsibilities
- Deliver respiratory care to adult and pediatric patients per physician orders, including airway clearance and medication administration
- Manage ventilator settings and participate in weaning for patients on mechanical ventilation in ICU and general units
- Monitor oxygenation, ventilation status, and ABG results; adjust modalities per protocol and clinician direction
- Perform routine assessments, document findings, and ensure timely charting in the electronic medical record
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure coordinated patient care; participate in care plans and safety checks
- Be prepared for ED involvement if needed; weekends and nights may be required with schedule flexibility

Requirements
- Active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential; NBRC verification; license on file at time of submission
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP
- Minimum 1 year of relevant experience; prior travel experience preferred
- Must be RRT (CRT not accepted)
- Epic experience within the past 2 years is required
- Teaching hospital experience is required
- Ability to work in an inpatient, acute care environment with adult ICU and general units
