Overview
Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) travel assignment in Burlington, VT. Start on August 6, 2026 for a 4-week contract in an inpatient hospital setting. Weekly pay ranges from $1,891 to $2,025 per week, with no guaranteed hours. Shift is 3x12 nights. This assignment supports adult, pediatric, and neonatal care as part of a high-acuity care team.

Responsibilities
- Provide respiratory care to inpatient populations across adult, pediatric, and neonatal units per physician orders
- Manage and monitor ventilation strategies, airway support, and weaning as appropriate
- Interpret arterial blood gases and adjust therapies to optimize patient outcomes
- Administer medications and perform aerosolized therapies; conduct chest therapies and suctioning as needed
- Maintain and troubleshoot respiratory equipment; ensure infection control and device calibration
- Document all patient care in Epic EMR; participate in rounds and coordinate with the multidisciplinary team
- Educate patients and families on therapies, procedures, and equipment usage

Requirements
- Active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential; CRT not accepted
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NBRC Verification, NRP
- Epic EMR experience within the past 2 years
- Minimum 1 year of clinical experience; teaching hospital experience required; prior travel experience preferred
- Education: Completion of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program
- Ability to work in a hospital inpatient setting and adhere to unit protocols
- Must be able to start within the requested timeframe and maintain reliable transportation if required
