Overview
Respiratory Therapist (Registered Respiratory Therapist) travel assignment in Burlington, Vermont. Start date: July 23, 2026 for a 4-week contract. Weekly pay range: $1,877 to $2,001 per week. Guaranteed hours: 0.0. Shift: night shift, 12-hour nights, 3 shifts per week. This is an inpatient hospital-setting assignment requiring strong critical care skills, with demand across adult ICU, adult and pediatric general units. Teaching hospital experience and prior travel work are preferred. All work history and Epic EMR experience must be well documented.

Responsibilities
- Provide respiratory therapy to adult ICU patients and to adults and pediatrics on general units, following physician orders and facility protocols
- Manage ventilator care and airway support, including assessment, adjustments, and documentation
- Administer aerosolized medications, perform chest physiotherapy, and conduct arterial blood gas sampling as appropriate
- Monitor patient response to therapies, adjust treatment plans, and collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to optimize outcomes
- Document all care in the Epic EMR and ensure compliance with hospital policies and safety standards

Requirements
- Active Respiratory Therapist license with NBRC verification on file at submission; RRT required, CRT not accepted
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP; NBRC verification
- Minimum 1 year of respiratory care experience; prior travel experience preferred; teaching hospital experience required
- Epic EMR experience within the past 2 years
- Ability to work in an inpatient hospital setting, with availability for night shifts and a Monday-to-Sunday schedule; no block scheduling
