Overview
Respiratory Therapist (Registered Respiratory Therapist) needed for a travel temporary assignment in a hospital setting in Mount Clemens, Michigan. Start date: 08/10/2026. Contract duration: 13 weeks. Guaranteed hours: 36 per week. Shift: night shift on a 3x12 schedule (6:30 PM–7:00 AM). Weekly pay range: $1,752 to $1,808. This is a travel assignment managed through Healthforce Healthcare LLC.

Responsibilities
- Provide respiratory care services to patients with emergency, ICU, and pulmonary/cardiopulmonary needs
- Deliver invasive and non-invasive therapeutic treatments and monitor patient progress
- Conduct diagnostic testing and participate in patient education for pulmonary disorders
- Monitor and maintain respiratory equipment; adjust ventilator settings as prescribed
- Perform arterial blood gas sampling and interpretation as needed
- Participate in quality assurance and performance improvement activities as part of the care team

Requirements
- Active Michigan state license as a Respiratory Therapist (RRT preferred; CRT considered)
- Certifications: ACLS, BLS (AHA), NBRC credentials
- Minimum 2+ years of RRT experience (required)
- Comfortable with ventilators and EKGs (required)
- Ability to work night shifts and in hospital ICU/emergency settings; travel assignment
- On-site work with a hospital environment; willingness to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team
- Travel experience preferred
