Responsibilities
- Provide prescribed respiratory care to neonatal and NICU patients, including airway clearance therapies and ventilator management under physician orders
- Monitor patient status, interpret clinical data (vital signs, ABGs), adjust therapies per protocol, and document interventions accurately
- Manage neonatal ventilation support, collaborate on weaning strategies, and support delivery-neonatal care workflows
- Maintain readiness and safety of respiratory equipment; perform routine checks, calibrations, and infection-control practices
- Collaborate with NICU nurses, physicians, and the broader care team to develop and implement care plans
- Respond to respiratory emergencies as part of the multidisciplinary team; participate in code response when needed
- Ensure compliance with neonatal resuscitation standards (NRP) and NICU delivery protocols; maintain NBRC-RRT credentialing requirements

Requirements
- Active Georgia RRT license (NBRC-RRT credential)
- NBRC-RRT certification
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
- Neonatal delivery experience required; minimum 2 years of recent NICU experience
- American Heart Association BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
- Ability to work in an inpatient NICU-adjacent, high-acuity care setting
