Overview
Respiratory Therapist - Registered | Viroqua, WI, United States — Travel assignment in a critical access hospital. Start date 07/13/2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay range $1,900–$1,947 per week with guaranteed hours of 36 per week. Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00 pm–7:00 am), 3 nights per week, with every other weekend (Friday–Sunday) and holiday rotation. This assignment takes place in a hospital setting focused on acute care needs, including neonatal support.

Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic and functional respiratory tests, monitor patient progress, and support the care team in developing and adjusting treatment plans.
- Administer prescribed respiratory therapies and monitor patient responses; document outcomes and communicate changes to the team.
- Perform phlebotomies and IV starts/removals as necessary and appropriate for the patient care plan.
- Educate patients and families on administering treatments and using respiratory equipment safely and effectively.
- Maintain accurate documentation of procedures, equipment status, and patient responses; ensure adherence to safety and infection control protocols.

Requirements
- Active Wisconsin license to practice respiratory therapy.
- NICU experience required.
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts (7:00 pm–7:00 am) with every other weekend (Fri–Sun) and holiday rotation as part of the assignment.
- Relevant clinical experience in a hospital setting for respiratory therapy.
