Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) travel assignment in Carbondale, Illinois. Start date 06/22/2026 for 13 weeks. Nights shift in a hospital setting. Guaranteed hours of 36 per week. Weekly pay range: $1,873 - $1,976 per week.

Responsibilities
- Evaluate patient outcomes and adjust respiratory care plans within the multidisciplinary team.
- Provide explanations and instructions to patients and caregivers regarding respiratory disease processes, interventions, and discharge planning; confirm understanding.
- Deliver respiratory care as ordered by the physician, maintaining clear communication with medical and nursing staff.
- Document care delivered and monitor effectiveness of therapies; participate in plan-of-care updates as needed.
- Support unit operations by assisting with reassignment to other areas when necessary; share clinical knowledge with staff and students as a clinical role model.

Requirements
- Active Illinois RRT license
- BLS certification; NRP-MHC certification
- Associate degree in Respiratory Therapy
- Ability to work the night shift
- Eligibility to work in a hospital setting and to participate in a travel assignment
