Overview
Respiratory Therapist (Registered Respiratory Therapist) travel assignment in Berlin, Vermont. Start date 06/22/2026 for a 13- to 16-week assignment, with weekly pay in the range of $2,392 to $2,540. Shift is 12-hour nights (3x12 Nights). Hospital-based Respiratory Therapy Unit, supporting adult through neonatal/pediatric patients in a high-acuity setting. This is a travel - temporary assignment through Healthforce Healthcare LLC.

Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive respiratory care for all age groups, including ICU and ED patients, in collaboration with physicians, nurses, and the critical care team
- Operate and manage ventilators (e.g., Hamilton C3 and T1), NIV devices (V60), Airvo 2 and HFNC, and Bubble CPAP; adjust settings per protocol and patient needs
- Administer bronchodilator therapy, airway clearance techniques, and NIV therapy; implement unit-specific protocols for respiratory care
- Perform external transports for adult critical care patients when needed; document care in the Epic system
- Participate in rounds, contribute to care plans, and support neonatal/pediatric (NICU/PICU) patients as appropriate; ensure accurate bedside assessments and documentation
- Adhere to infection control guidelines, dress code (scrubs preferred, any color; closed-toe shoes), and unit policies; maintain neat, professional appearance

Requirements
- Certification: RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist), BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP required
- Experience: minimum 2 years of clinical experience; neonate/pediatric NICU/PICU experience required or significant role in care
- Specialty and systems: EPIC EMR experience within the past 2 years; demonstrated ability to work in a hospital respiratory therapy unit and in ICU/ED environments
- Other: ability to work the specified shift; reliable transportation due to location; willingness to comply with unit rotation requirements (minimum every other weekend); commitment to high-quality patient care across age groups
