Overview
Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) travel assignment in Newark, NY starting 06/08/2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay range: $1,941 per week to $2,096 per week. Shift: 3x12 Days, 6:30 AM – 7:00 PM. Working in an acute-care/inpatient care setting with on-call requirements. Floating between Eastern region locations as needed; exact assignment determined during scheduling. This is a travel - temporary assignment with variable hours.

Responsibilities
- Provide ventilator management, weaning, and troubleshooting of high-pressure alarms
- Assist with airway management including intubation/extubation, ET tube and tracheostomy care
- Manage noninvasive support (HFNC, BiPAP, CPAP) and airway suctioning (oral/nasal, ETT/NT)
- Perform ABG sampling and analyze results to guide patient care
- administer medications related to respiratory therapy and coordinate with the care team
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and contribute to multidisciplinary plan of care

Requirements
- Active NY state license in-hand to submit
- Certified Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with BLS certification
- Minimum 1 year of professional experience; preferred: charge experience, community hospital, LTAC, Trauma I/II
- EPIC charting proficiency required
- Able to work in an inpatient/acute-care environment; on-call duties required
- Floating to Eastern region locations as assigned; exact site determined during scheduling
