Respiratory Therapist (Registered Respiratory Therapist) - Everett, Washington, United States. Start date: June 1, 2026. Assignment length: 13 weeks. Weekly pay: $1,711–$1,880. Shift: 3x12 Nights. Setting: Level II Trauma Center hospital with ED, inpatient, and related services. Travel - temporary assignment with weekend coverage and on-site duties as described.

- Pre-start/upfront requirements: 16 hours of orientation modules and standard compliance items; EPIC charting required
Responsibilities
- Manage ventilator support, including weaning and troubleshooting; respond to high-pressure alarms
- Provide non-invasive support (HFNC, BiPAP/CPAP) and ABG interpretation; assist with intubation and extubation as needed
- Perform tracheostomy care, suctioning, and airway maintenance; administer inhaled therapies and aerosols
- Support ED/acute care eligible patients; assist with emergency/ED procedures and rapid responses
- Document care and maintain patient records in EPIC; participate in care coordination and patient/family education
- Float to like units as assigned; follow unit protocols and safety guidelines; maintain equipment and infection control standards
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years RT experience; adult critical care and Emergency Department settings required
- Required certifications: RRT, ACLS, BLS; NRP preferred
- Preferred experience: NICU/neonatal
- Ability to work Nights, weekends; float between like units; EPIC charting experience
- Two references (covering at least 1 year within the last 3 years) required; compliance items may include BG/Nursys checks and return-staff rules (3 months)
- Pre-start modules and standard compliance items completed prior to start
