Responsibilities
- Administer prescribed respiratory therapies, including oxygen, aerosolized medications, and airway clearance therapies, per physician order and protocol
- Manage ventilator support and both invasive and non-invasive airway care; monitor patient response and adjust therapy accordingly
- Assess respiratory status, document findings, and communicate changes to the multidisciplinary team
- Set up, operate, and maintain respiratory equipment; perform routine checks and ensure equipment safety
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and therapists; document care in the electronic health record and follow infection control guidelines
- Assist with weaning from ventilatory support when clinically appropriate and participate in rounding and care planning as needed

Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in respiratory care within the specialty
- NBRC - Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential
- American Heart Association BLS certification
- Ability to work in a hospital setting on a travel assignment
