Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive wound assessments and develop individualized wound care plans for diverse wound types.
- Perform wound care interventions (dressings, maintenance, and adipose/skin integrity support) per physician orders and established protocols; assist with wound VAC and related therapies as qualified.
- Document all assessments, plans, interventions, and patient responses accurately in the Epic EMR to ensure continuity of care.
- Monitor patient status for changes in condition, infection risk, and pain; escalate concerns promptly to the interdisciplinary team.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, therapists, and case managers to adjust care plans and optimize healing outcomes.
- Educate patients and families on wound care techniques, dressing changes, infection signs, and when to seek care after discharge.

Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in California
- Epix/EPIC EMR experience or familiarity preferred
- Ability to work 12-hour day shifts (3x12s) in an inpatient wound care setting
- Wound care experience or exposure to wound care environments preferred
- Strong teamwork, communication, and patient education skills
- Willingness to participate in a travel assignment and follow healthcare protocols
