Registered Nurse, Utilization Management — a travel assignment in Dallastown, Pennsylvania. Start date 09/07/2026 for a 4-week assignment. Weekly pay range $1,971 to $2,113 per week with guaranteed 40 hours. Shift is 5x8 Days (08:00–17:00). Work setting: LTC - Nursing Home. Responsibilities

• Conduct utilization management activities to ensure appropriate level of care and alignment with payer requirements.
• Review resident records for documentation quality, care appropriateness, and service orders; collaborate with the interdisciplinary team.
• Coordinate with physicians, nursing staff, social workers, and case managers to develop and implement care plans.
• Perform concurrent and retrospective chart reviews; identify barriers to discharge and recommend actions to optimize utilization.
• Facilitate discharge planning and transitions of care to support efficient bed management and safe patient flow.
• Document findings and recommendations clearly in the electronic medical record; maintain accuracy and compliance with organizational policies.

Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse license in Pennsylvania.
• 1+ year of RN clinical experience; utilization management or care coordination experience preferred.
• Strong documentation and communication skills; proficient with electronic medical records.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced long-term care environment; effective collaboration with an interdisciplinary team.
• Knowledge of utilization review concepts, care coordination, and discharge planning best practices.
• Availability to work 40 hours per week for the 4-week assignment.
