Overview
Registered Nurse – Telemetry (Tele RN) travel assignment in Kansas City, KS. Start date: 09/14/2026 for 15 weeks. Weekly pay: $2,046 to $2,213 per week. Guaranteed hours: 0.0. Shift: 12-hour nights with a weekend Fri–Sun schedule (Fr 19:00–Sun 07:30). This position is in a hospital setting and requires travel staffing.

Responsibilities
- Provide telemetry-focused nursing care to adult patients, including continuous cardiac monitoring and rhythm interpretation; promptly respond to alarms and changes in patient status.
- Administer prescribed medications and IV therapies, monitor patient responses, and document clinical data accurately.
- Perform ongoing patient assessments (vital signs, pain management, neuro checks) and participate in care planning and coordination with the interdisciplinary team.
- Support safe patient care transitions, assist with discharge planning, and educate patients and families about treatment plans as appropriate.
- May float to adjacent units (acute care or overflow/med-surg) based on unit needs; maintain safe practice and adapt to unit protocols.

Requirements
- Licensed KS RN and BLS certification
- Associate degree in nursing; bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred
- 1+ year of Telemetry RN experience in a hospital setting
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts with a weekend Fri–Sun schedule (Fri 19:00–Sun 07:30)
- Credentialing requirements: CBC, DS, and lab work completed within 72 hours of offer acceptance
- Willingness to float to other units as needed
