Overview
Registered Nurse – Supervisor (Clinical Leader) in Geneva, New York. Start date: 06/22/2026. This 14-week travel assignment is for a Short Term Acute Care Hospital setting. Responsibilities
- Provide clinical leadership and supervision to nursing staff on evening and night shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Coordinate planning, organization, evaluation, and delivery of nursing care to patients across all age groups.
- Collaborate with Nurse Managers and off-site Clinical Leaders to monitor staffing levels based on patient acuity; adjust staffing according to policy and guidelines.
- Support staff in managing emergencies and complex clinical or administrative situations per established policies and regulatory requirements.
- Facilitate competency assessment and staff development for Nursing staff on shifts and weekends; mentor and role-model professional nursing practice.
- Maintain effective communication and serve as a link between off-shift staff and Nursing leadership to promote positive patient outcomes and ensure consistent information flow.

Requirements
- Active NYS RN Licensure
- BLS, ACLS, PALS, CPI certification within 90 days of hire
- 3 years of acute care RN experience
- 1 year of critical care experience (preferably ED)
- 1 year of leadership/charge nurse experience
- Ability to work in a high-demand acute care environment and on evening/night/weekend/holiday shifts
