Overview
Registered Nurse – PCU travel assignment in Olathe, KS, United States. Start date 07/05/2026 for a 13-week assignment. Weekly pay range $2,020–$2,213 per week. Guaranteed hours: none. Shift: 3x12-hour night shifts. Setting: Short Term Acute Care Hospital. This travel opportunity is through Healthforce Healthcare LLC.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in the PCU, including ongoing assessment, vital monitoring, medication administration, and coordination of care.
- Support patients with advanced therapies and devices, including CRRT, noninvasive ventilation (BiPAP), drawing labs, chest tubes, and PICC lines, adhering to established protocols.
- Float to ICU and all inpatient units (Med/Surg, Med/Tele, Acute/Tele, and ED) as needed; participate in codes and on-call consults when required.
- Document accurately in EPIC; participate in daily rounds, handoffs, and collaborative planning with the multidisciplinary team; communicate changes to patients and families as appropriate.

Requirements
- Active RN license in Kansas or Compact RN license; BLS, ACLS, and NIHF certifications.
- Minimum 2 years of recent Critical Care/ICU experience.
- Experience with CRRT, BiPAP, drawing labs, chest tubes, and PICC lines; open heart day 2 or 3 experience with pacer wires is a plus.
- Ability to float to ICU and all inpatient units (Med/Surg, Med/Tele, Acute/Tele, ED) and to participate in codes; must be able to work 3x12-hour night shifts.
- Proficiency with EPIC or willingness to complete training; strong communication and teamwork skills.
