Registered Nurse, PCU/IMCU—Utica, New York. Travel assignment starts 07/13/2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay range $2,221–$2,363 with 36 guaranteed hours. Shift: 12-hour day shifts, 3 days per week (6:30 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.). Unit: IMCU/PCU in a hospital-type setting. This opening requires active NY RN licensure, EPIC EMR experience, and a strong background in IMCU/PCU care. Local candidates within 75 miles may be eligible for local rates. RTO must be included at submission.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care as a PCU/IMCU RN for adult patients (18+) with neuro, cardiac, trauma, COPD, DKA, sepsis, MI, and post-op needs
- Monitor, assess, and document patient status; administer medications and IV therapies; manageTelemetry and life-sustaining interventions as ordered
- Utilize specialty equipment as needed (temporary pacer, chest tubes, A-lines, BiPAP, Neptune Vapo) and assist with chronic ventilator management in collaboration with respiratory therapy
- Collaborate with physicians, case managers, and ancillary staff to implement and adjust individualized care plans; educate patients and families regarding plan of care, medications, and discharge needs
- Maintain EPIC documentation, ensure accurate orders, charting, and compliance with protocols; participate in unit- or facility-wide quality and safety initiatives
- Float to related units as required by unit needs and standards; adhere to infection prevention, safety policies, and state nursing practice guidelines
Requirements
- Active NY RN license; Nursys verification; ability to verify multi-state licenses
- 2+ years of IMCU/PCU experience; travel experience preferred
- Certifications: American Heart Association BLS, ACLS, NIHSS (current and active)
- EMR experience required: EPIC
- Education: Graduate of an approved RN program; current licensure in New York
- RTO must be included at time of submission
- Valid driver’s license with address matching demographics
- Ability to work in an IMCU/PCU setting with potential float to other units per policy
