Overview
Registered Nurse – PCU in Vail, Colorado. Start date 06/29/2026 for a 13-week travel assignment with guaranteed hours and a night shift. Weekly pay ranges from $1,971 to $2,107 per week. Work setting is a Short Term Acute Care Hospital with a Progressive Care Unit (PCU).

Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to patients in the PCU, including ongoing assessment, monitoring, and response to changes in condition
- Administer medications, IV therapies, and other treatments as prescribed; manage telemetry and patient safety
- Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapy, pharmacy, and other disciplines to develop and revise care plans
- Document care accurately in the electronic health record; ensure compliance with patient safety and infection control standards
- Educate patients and families on discharge planning, self-care, and post-acute needs; coordinate with the care team for smooth transitions

Requirements
- Licensure: Active Registered Nurse license; CAPS credentialing may be required per Colorado guidance. Out-of-state agencies may need to register in Colorado; details at https://www.colorado.gov/ccu
- Experience: One year of nursing experience preferred
- Shift/setting: Ability to work nights in a PCU within a short-term acute care environment
- Credentialing: If applicable, ability to complete required state credentialing processes as noted in job notes
- Communication: Strong teamwork and documentation skills; ability to adapt to a high-acuity unit
