Overview
Registered Nurse – PCU travel assignment in Potsdam, NY. Mixed-acuity unit including PCU, MS Telemetry and Medical-Surgical patients. Start date 06/15/2026 for Weeks. Weekly pay range $2,800–$2,877 per week with no guaranteed hours. Shift: 4x12 Nights. Setting: hospital unit with EPIC charting and Pyxis med distribution.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to PCU/MS Telemetry and surgical pre/post patients, with occasional medical diagnoses
- Monitor telemetry, interpret dysrhythmias, and respond to rhythm changes
- Perform IV starts and peripheral/CVL/PICC care, phlebotomy, and blood product administration as ordered
- Manage insulin infusions per protocol, administer medications via Pyxis, and document in EPIC
- Support post-op ortho/trauma and wound/skin care; operate chest tubes as needed; manage PCA and catheter care
- Collaborate with PT, Respiratory, Pharmacy, Radiology, Social Services; SBAR communications; participate in Rapid Response when indicated

Requirements
- Active New York RN license in hand to submit
- Minimum 1 year of recent RN experience
- PCU/IMC experience within the last 3 years; trauma level I/II experience preferred; previous charge experience preferred
- EPIC charting experience required
- Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS required; PALS and TCAR preferred
- Ability to work nights in a mixed-acuity unit; willing to float to sister units as needed
- Distance rules apply; locals not accepted; candidates must reside >50 miles from the facility; RTO up to 7 days; confirm with recruiter
