Registered Nurse - PCU in Atlanta, GA. This travel assignment is in a hospital setting with an IMCU/PCU focus. Start date: 06/15/2026 for a 13-week assignment. Weekly pay: $2,315–$2,434 per week with guaranteed hours at 48 per week. Shift: Nights on a 2x4 schedule. This opportunity supports adult, high-acuity care in a fast-paced unit requiring close monitoring and collaboration with the care team.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct bedside nursing care to adult patients in the IMCU/PCU with complex conditions, including sepsis, heart failure, hypertensive emergencies, respiratory failure, COPD, and CKD.
- Administer medications and therapies as ordered, including anticoagulation with heparin drips, monitor IV lines, and manage monitoring equipment.
- Conduct frequent patient assessments, interpret evolving data, and participate in care planning with the multidisciplinary team; document clearly in the electronic medical record.
- Maintain a 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio while ensuring safety, infection control, and adherence to unit protocols; escalate changes in patient status promptly.
- Educate patients and families about diagnoses, treatments, discharge planning, and follow-up care; coordinate transitions to higher levels of care when needed.

Requirements
- Experience: 2 years of RN experience in acute care, ICU, or IMCU/Critical Care environments.
- Certifications: BLS and ACLS required.
- Setting readiness: Ability to work in a high-acuity IMCU/PCU environment with complex patient needs and anticoagulation therapy.
- Schedule: Availability for night shifts on a 2x4 schedule with guaranteed 48 hours per week.
- Documentation and teamwork: Strong charting skills and effective collaboration with physicians and allied health professionals.
