Registered Nurse – PCU

Weekly pay: $2,245–$2,384 per week

Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a medical step-down unit, including monitoring vital signs, hemodynamics, and telemetry
- Assess patient condition, respond to changes, and implement individualized care plans
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders; manage IV therapy and monitoring devices
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to coordinate care and discharge planning
- Recognize and respond to deteriorating patient conditions, including sepsis, respiratory compromise, and cardiovascular events
- Document accurately in the electronic health record and communicate effectively with patients, families, and staff

Requirements
- Active RN license in Georgia (or eligibility to obtain)
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience in a PCU/step-down or medical-surgical environment
- ACLS and BLS certifications
- Ability to work in a fast-paced hospital setting with strong clinical assessment skills
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program; current RN status
