Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care for adult patients in a PCU/IMCU with cardiac conditions, including STEMI/NSTEMI care.
- Monitor telemetry, vital signs, and hemodynamic status; interpret cardiac rhythms and respond to critical events.
- Administer and titrate cardiac medications and drips as ordered (e.g., Milrinone, Dobutamine, vasopressors) with careful documentation.
- Collaborate with the cardiology team to develop and adjust care plans; document assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the electronic medical record.
- Ensure patient safety, infection control, and compliance with BLS/ACLS protocols; participate in rapid response and escalation as needed.
- Prepare patients and families for procedures and discharge planning; provide appropriate education and care coordination.

Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in Georgia (or eligible to practice in Georgia)
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- Minimum 2 years of PCU/IMCU experience in a hospital setting, with documented PCU experience in work history
- Experience in a 28-bed cardiac-focused PCU/IMCU or similar environment; telemetry competency
- Ability to work nights in a fast-paced acute care setting with cardiac monitoring and complex care needs
