Overview
Registered Nurse – PACU in Portland, OR. This 13-week travel assignment starts June 8, 2026, includes 3x12-hour day shifts in a short-term acute care setting, and pays $1,711–$1,759 per week.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct postoperative care to PACU patients as they recover from anesthesia
- Monitor and document vital signs, airway status, pain, nausea, and recovery milestones; respond to clinical changes promptly
- Administer medications and interventions per physician orders; document assessments and progress
- Collaborate with anesthesia, surgical care teams, and nursing colleagues to optimize patient safety and outcomes
- Maintain strict infection control practices and safe patient handling; prepare patients for transfer to the next level of care or discharge

Requirements
- Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse license with eligibility to practice in Oregon
- BLS certification (AHA-BLS or ARC-BLS) required
- ACLS certification (AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS) required
- PALS certification (AHA-PALS or ARC-PALS) required
- PACU nursing experience preferred; clinical competency to manage post-anesthesia recovery in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work 3x12-hour day shifts in a PACU setting
