Overview
Registered Nurse – Operating Room travel assignment in York, Maine, United States. Start date: 10/12/2026 for a 13-week assignment. Weekly pay range: $2,174–$2,302 per week with guaranteed hours of 36 per week. Shift: four 9-hour day shifts (6:45 am–4:15 pm) Monday through Thursday, plus on-call. This is an acute care setting (travel assignment) with a focus on orthopedic procedures. Active BLS and ACLS are required.

Responsibilities
- Provide perioperative nursing care for orthopedic procedures, including circulating and scrub roles as needed
- Prepare the operating room, ensure sterility, and assist the surgical team with instrumentation and equipment
- Monitor patient status intraoperatively, document events, and communicate changes to the team
- Maintain patient safety and comfort, follow sterile technique, and manage all perioperative phases
- Collaborate with anesthesia, surgeons, and support staff to maintain efficient case flow
- Demonstrate professionalism in call coverage and respond to intraoperative changes as required

Requirements
- Active RN license
- BLS and ACLS certifications (mandatory)
- Minimum 5 years of perioperative experience preferred
- Strong orthopedic OR experience required; experience with circulating and scrub roles
- Ability to work in a high-demand OR environment and participate in on-call coverage
- Eligible for travel assignment in Maine and capable of meeting assignment requirements
