Overview
Registered Nurse - Operating Room, Salida, Colorado. Travel assignment starting 10/05/2026 for 12 weeks. Weekly pay: $2,485 to $2,685 per week. Guaranteed hours: 40 per week. Shift: 10-hour shifts with call. Setting: Critical Access Hospital environment. This opening requests an OR RN to provide perioperative care in a rural, outdoor-recreation-focused region.

Responsibilities
- Provide perioperative nursing care for surgical patients across preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative phases as assigned.
- Maintain sterile technique and aseptic practices; assist the surgical team with instruments and equipment setup.
- Monitor patient status intraoperatively; document pertinent events and respond to changes in patient condition.
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and staff to ensure patient safety, positioning, and safe turnover of cases.
- Complete accurate intraoperative documentation and contribute to post-anesthesia handoffs and charting.
- Participate in equitable call rotations and adhere to infection control, safety policies, and department protocols.

Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in Colorado or a compact state
- Current CPR certification
- Current ACLS certification
- Current PALS or PEARS certification
- Ability to work in an operating room setting and participate in call rotations
