Weekly pay: $486-$519 per week | Guaranteed hours: 40/week
Shift: 16-hour daytime shifts; schedule rotates (5x8s 0600–2030 Mon–Fri; open to 4x10s); call at least 1 night per week and 1 weekend per schedule

Responsibilities
- Circulate in the Operating Room during surgical procedures and assist the team as needed
- Maintain strict aseptic technique and perioperative safety standards
- Prepare patients for surgery, including safe anatomical positioning and verification of consent and site
- Assist anesthesia and surgeons with equipment, supplies, and intraoperative needs
- Safely handle and dispose of biohazardous materials; manage tissue handling documentation per policy
- Monitor patient status pre-, intra-, and post-operatively and contribute to care planning and documentation
Requirements
- Active RN license in state of practice (California)
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; ACLS and PALS required
- Associate Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred
- Minimum one year of full-time operating room experience
- OR circulating experience required; orthopedics, neurosurgery, and trauma experience preferred or required per placement needs
- Ability to work in a fast-paced perioperative setting and to use facility information systems for patient care
Education and Certifications
- Nursing: Associate Degree required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Licenses/Certifications: RN license in state of practice; BLS; ACLS; PALS required
- Certifications: CNOR preferred
