Overview
Registered Nurse – OR travel assignment in Kansas City, KS, starting 06/21/2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay range: $2,268 to $2,397. Shift: 5x8 days in a hospital operating room setting. This assignment requires OR experienced nursing support with floating capabilities and on-call coverage.

Responsibilities
- Scrub and circulate for operative cases; maintain sterile technique and assist with instrument handling and equipment setup.
- Support robotic-assisted procedures, including DaVinci system setup and intraoperative assistance.
- Position patients, monitor intraoperative status, and support anesthesia as needed to ensure patient safety and comfort.
- Document intraoperative events, assist with case turnover, and communicate effectively with the surgical team.
- Float to all ORs within the department as needed; contribute to a collaborative, multidisciplinary workflow.
- Participate in the on-call schedule (up to 6 shifts per 13-week contract) and adhere to institutional policies and safety standards.

Requirements
- Active Kansas RN license ( KS RN license )
- Certification: AHA BLS
- Experience: 2+ years of OR nursing experience with level 1 trauma experience
- Skills: Strong scrub experience; familiarity with DaVinci robotic cases; experience with large head and neck cases, neuro spine, ex lap
- Additional: Ability to float to all ORs; available for a 13-week assignment starting 06/21/2026
- Education: Graduation from an approved nursing program and eligibility to practice as an RN in Kansas
- Orientation: New employee orientation scheduled; on-site orientation occurring weekly
