Overview
Registered Nurse - Operating Room (OR) in a travel assignment located in Atlanta, GA. Start date 06/15/2026 for a 13-week assignment with guaranteed 36 hours per week. Earn $1,991 to $2,089 per week. Shifts are 12-hour day shifts (6:45 a.m. – 7:15 p.m.), three days per week with on-call requirements, including weekends and holidays, and no block scheduling. The role is in a hospital setting with exposure to Level I trauma and OR procedures; burn experience is preferred.

Responsibilities
- Deliver perioperative nursing care to patients undergoing surgical procedures in the OR.
- Maintain sterile technique, assist surgeons, manage instruments and supplies, and ensure accurate counts.
- Monitor patient status intraoperatively, support anesthesia team, and address intraoperative changes promptly.
- Position, drape, and prepare the patient, ensuring safety, comfort, and privacy.
- Document intraoperative events, vitals, specimens, and post-procedure handoffs clearly and timely.
- Communicate effectively with the surgical team, scrub technologists, and circulating staff; participate in post-anesthesia care handoffs when appropriate.
- Respond to emergencies and changes in patient condition with clinical judgment and teamwork.

Requirements
- Previous travel nursing experience in the OR
- Level I trauma experience required
- Burn experience preferred
- Demonstrated strong OR skills with evidence of high performance on skills assessments
- Ability to work in a high-acuity, fast-paced surgical environment; willingness to cover weekends and holidays; on-call responsibilities as assigned
