Overview
Registered Nurse – Operating Room (Travel) in Kansas City, KS, starting 06/07/2026 for a 13-week assignment. Weekly pay range: $2,240–$2,406 per week. Guaranteed hours: 0. Shift: 5x8 Days. Setting: hospital operating room.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in the operating room, including circulating and scrub duties to support surgical teams.
- Assist with DaVinci robotic cases and complex procedures, including head/neck, neuro spine, and abdominal operations; ensure proper setup and instrument availability.
- Maintain sterile technique, patient positioning, anesthesia support as applicable, and accurate intraoperative documentation.
- Collaborate closely with surgeons and perioperative staff; monitor patient status, equipment function, and implant safety throughout cases.
- Float to all OR areas as needed and participate in on-call coverage consistent with the assignment requirements.

Requirements
- Active Kansas RN license
- AHA BLS certification
- 2+ years OR experience with level 1 trauma background preferred
- Strong scrub experience; familiarity with DaVinci robot cases, large head and neck cases, neuro spine, and ex-lap cases
- Ability to work in a high-volume OR environment and float to multiple ORs; on-call up to 6 shifts per 13-week contract
- Weekend/holiday coverage as scheduled
