Overview
Registered Nurse – Operating Room (OR) travel assignment in Kansas City, KS, United States. Start date 06/07/2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay range: $2,277–$2,462 per week. Guaranteed hours: 0 per week. Shift: 5x8 days. This travel assignment occurs in a hospital OR setting and requires KS RN licensure and BLS certification.

Responsibilities
- Provide perioperative nursing care in the OR, including patient assessment, positioning, positioning safety, and maintaining sterile technique.
- Scrub and circulate for diverse surgical cases, ensuring correct instrument counts, equipment readiness, and timely availability of supplies.
- Support DaVinci robotic procedures; assist with large head and neck cases, neuro spine procedures, and ex lap cases; anticipate surgeon needs and manage equipment accordingly.
- Monitor intraoperative patient status, coordinate with anesthesia, document events, and communicate changes to the team.
- Collaborate with the surgical team to maintain a safe, efficient workflow; adapt to multiple ORs as assigned; participate in on-call coverage as required.

Requirements
- Current Kansas RN license and AHA BLS certification
- 2+ years of OR experience with level 1 trauma experience and strong scrub skills
- Familiarity with DaVinci robotic cases; experience with large head/neck, neuro spine, and ex lap surgeries
- Ability to float to all ORs and work effectively in a hospital OR environment
- Orientation and credentialing: credentials due 1 week prior to start; new graduates not accepted
