Registered Nurse – Operating Room (OR) Circulator for a travel assignment in San Luis Obispo, CA. The assignment starts 06/08/2026 and runs for 13 weeks on a 5x8 day shift. Responsibilities
- Serve as the circulating nurse in the OR, supporting procedures across Orthopedics, Neurosurgery, and Trauma with emphasis on patient safety and sterile technique
- Anticipate instrument and equipment needs; manage instrument counts with the surgical team
- Assist anesthesia with patient positioning, monitoring support, and intraoperative needs
- Maintain clear communication among surgeons, anesthesia providers, and OR staff; document intraoperative events
- Handle specimens, labeling, and transport as required; participate in intraoperative safety checks such as timeouts and counts

Requirements
- Active California RN license
- 1+ year OR Circulator experience with Orthopedic, Neuro, and Trauma cases
- ACLS and BLS required; PALS preferred
- CNOR preferred
- Ability to work 5x8 shifts with rotating start times; on-call at least one night per assignment
- Graduation from an approved RN program
