Responsibilities
- Provide perioperative nursing care to surgical patients in the OR, coordinating with the surgical team
- Prepare the operating room, maintain sterile technique, and assist with instrument handling as needed
- Monitor patient status before, during, and after procedures; advocate for patient safety, comfort, and dignity
- Collaborate with physicians, anesthesiologists, circulating nurses, and other perioperative staff to support efficient, evidence-based care
- Document care, contribute to handoffs, and ensure compliance with policies and professional standards
- Uphold patient rights and confidentiality, and participate in quality and safety initiatives

Requirements
- Current, active RN license in Georgia (or eligibility to practice per Georgia standards)
- Perioperative/OR nursing experience is preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced surgical environment and adapt to changing priorities
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, with a focus on patient advocacy
- Education: graduate of an accredited RN program
- Knowledge of and commitment to practice in alignment with the Georgia Professional Nurse Practice Act and the American Nurses Association Code of Ethics
