Responsibilities
- Assume responsibility and accountability for a group of patients for a designated shift
- Prescribe nursing care based on the nursing process, aligned with the medical plan of care and input from the patient and significant others
- Collaborate with physicians and the health care team to coordinate delivery of care for patients across applicable age groups
- Incorporate teaching and discharge planning needs into the overall plan of care
- Delegate appropriate aspects of patient care to other nursing staff based on current clinical competence and scope of practice
- Document care and ensure patient safety, quality care, and compliance with standards

Requirements
- Current, licensure-eligible or licensed Registered Nurse (RN) in California
- Oncology nursing experience or demonstrated oncology-focused knowledge preferred
- Ability to work Days, 12-hour shifts (36 hours per week)
- Comfort providing care to patients across age ranges (as unit assigns), and collaborating with the multidisciplinary team
- Willingness to participate in a travel assignment for 8 weeks
- Clear communication, documentation, and teamwork skills
