Overview
Registered Nurse - Oncology. Travel assignment in Hanford, California. Start date: 08/17/2026. 8-week assignment with a typical 36-hour workweek on 3x12-hour days (days). Weekly pay range: $2,068 to $2,205. Work setting is a hospital environment in which you will provide direct patient care and collaborate with medical teams. Responsibilities
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for an assigned group of patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, ensuring timely and accurate documentation.
- Administer medications and monitor for therapeutic effects and potential adverse reactions.
- Supervise and direct activities of various levels of nursing staff, providing guidance and ensuring patient safety.
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other disciplines to coordinate comprehensive care plans.
- Apply critical thinking and professional judgment to prioritize care needs and respond to changes in patient status.

Requirements
- Current, active RN license in California
- BLS certification required
- Oncology nursing experience or related acute care experience preferred
- Ability to perform 12-hour shifts and work daytime hours as scheduled
- Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred
