Responsibilities
- Assess patient needs and develop a nursing care plan in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
- Deliver direct patient care, administer medications, and monitor responses; utilize telemetry as indicated.
- Monitor patient progress, adjust care plans based on condition and treatment response, and document outcomes.
- Educate patients and families on disease processes, self-care, and post-discharge care to support continued healing.
- Adhere to infection prevention practices and patient safety standards; participate in rounds and care coordination per protocol.
- Promote a healing environment through compassionate communication, teamwork, and appropriate delegation within scope of practice.

Requirements
- Active New York State Registered Nurse (RN) license
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- Minimum 1 year of Med/Surg RN experience
- Ability to work in an inpatient hospital setting with rotating 3x12 shifts
- Education: graduate of an approved nursing program (RN)
