Overview
Registered Nurse – Neuro, travel assignment in Rochester, New York. Start date 08/03/2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay range $2,345–$2,462 per week. Guaranteed hours: 0.0. Shift: 12-hour shifts. Setting: hospital-based neuro/procedural area focused on stroke care with intraoperative moderate sedation and circulating duties.

Responsibilities
- Provide intraoperative moderate sedation and circulating during procedures for patients undergoing preventative and interventional stroke care
- Monitor the patient’s cardiac and physical status closely during sedation; collaborate with the physician to ensure safety, comfort, and privacy
- Administer and monitor conscious sedation independently as required; manage telemetry and patient monitoring
- Perform circulating duties when not providing moderate sedation; assist with instrument handling, documentation, and room turnover
- Maintain clear documentation, adherence to safety protocols, and communication with the surgical/ procedural team
- Respond to emergencies, follow BLS/ACLS protocols, and ensure patient privacy and comfort throughout the perioperative process

Requirements
- NY RN license (NY License ONLY)
- BLS (American Heart Association) required
- ACLS (American Heart Association) required
- Moderate Sedation experience required
- Interventional Radiology (IR) experience required
- Telemetry experience required
- Minimum 2 years of nursing experience; OR experience in a Level 1 trauma hospital highly desired
