Overview
Registered Nurse (MICU) travel assignment in Honolulu, Hawaii. Start date 06/22/2026 for 16 weeks. Weekly pay range: $2,232–$2,358 per week. Guaranteed hours: 36 per week. Shift: 3x12-hour rotating shifts (7:00 a.m.–7:30 p.m. and 7:00 p.m.–7:30 a.m.). This position is in a hospital setting with a Medical ICU assignment and requires travel nursing.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in the MICU, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of individualized care plans
- Monitor critically ill patients, interpret hemodynamic data, and respond rapidly to changes in condition; collaborate with physicians and the multidisciplinary team
- Administer medications, manage invasive lines and devices, ventilator management, and hemodynamic monitoring; CRRT experience is highly desirable
- Document all patient care and treatments accurately in the medical record; ensure adherence to safety, quality, and infection prevention standards
- May float to ICU, Stepdown, or Telemetry units based on facility needs; if RN coverage is not required on a unit, assignment may include nursing assistant or safety sitter duties
- Maintain compliance with policy requirements and participate in ongoing credentialing and orientation activities
Requirements
- Hawaii RN license active and unencumbered; required to apply
- Current BLS for Healthcare Providers, ACLS, and NIHSS required
- CPI (or equivalent) preferred; CCRN certification highly desired
- Minimum 2 years of full-time staff RN experience in a Medical ICU at a Level I Trauma Center prior to travel assignments; CRRT experience highly desired
- BSN preferred; graduation from an accredited nursing program
- EKG exam with 80% or better required during orientation
- All licenses and certifications must be valid through the duration of the initial contract; compliance must be completed no later than 10 days prior to start date; please include a current NURSYS report with submission
