Responsibilities
- Provide professional, patient-centered nursing care for 5–6 Med/Surg telemetry patients, applying clinical knowledge and judgment to develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans.
- Assess health status, administer prescribed treatments, monitor for complications, and respond to changes in patient conditions.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team, including physicians, case management, and patients, to achieve optimal outcomes; involve patients and families in care planning and education.
- Administer medications and therapies per physician orders, monitor effects, and ensure safe medication practices; document accordingly.
- Document accurately and timely in the electronic medical record; coordinate care, discharge planning, and patient education.
- Maintain patient confidentiality, safety, and infection control standards; seek clarification when orders are unclear.

Requirements
- Current Ohio RN license (active)
- ACLS, BLS, CPI, NIHSS certifications
- Med/Surg telemetry nursing experience preferred; willingness to train on unit-specific processes
- EPIC and Pyxis experience preferred; training available
- Ability to work night shift and 36 hours per week in a hospital setting
- Must reside outside a 60-mile radius of the assignment location
