Overview
Registered Nurse – Medical-Surgical / Telemetry (MS/Tele) needed for a travel assignment in Rochester, NY. Unit details: 35-bed medical-surgical/telemetry on a hospital floor serving adults and geriatrics; Epic charting is required. Start date: 08/31/2026. Duration: Weeks. Shift: 4x12-hour Nights. Weekly pay: $2,861–$2,987 per week. Guaranteed hours: 0.0. This assignment allows floating within MS/Tele as needed and requires NY RN licensure in-hand, with BLS and Epic charting experience.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct care for adult and geriatric patients on the MS/Tele unit, including assessment, planning, and evaluation.
- Interpret dysrhythmias and manage cardiac needs; administer cardiac medications and IV drips per protocol; monitor patient status and respond to changes.
- Administer medications and blood products as ordered; perform phlebotomy and peripheral IV insertion; manage IV therapy.
- Deliver wound care (including Wound VAC), PCA care, and manage care for ortho-trauma/total joint postoperative patients.
- Support care coordination with interdisciplinary teams (PT, Respiratory, Pharmacy, Radiology, Social Work, Rapid Response, Unit Secretary) and assist with feeding tube and tracheostomy care as required.
- Document in Epic; participate in rounds and follow unit protocols; respond to rapid responses as trained.

Requirements
- Active New York RN license in-hand
- BLS certification
- Minimum 1 year RN experience
- Epic charting experience required
- COVID-19 vaccine not required
- First-time travelers accepted
- Ability to work on a Medical-Surgical / Telemetry unit and float within scope
