Registered Nurse - Med Surg Tele | Burlington, VT | Start 08/11/2026 | 5 weeks | $2,146-$2,238 per week | 0 guaranteed hours | Shift: 3 x 12-hour day shifts | Travel - temporary assignment in a hospital setting

Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on a Med Surg Tele unit for adults, including postoperative neurosurgical and general surgical patients
- Monitor patient status with telemetry, vital signs, and clinical assessment; respond quickly to changes in condition
- Administer medications and IV therapies per policy; manage wounds and drain devices as appropriate
- Perform neuro assessments and NIHSS as required; collaborate with physicians, case management, and multidisciplinary teams
- Document accurately in Epic EMR; ensure timely handoffs and comprehensive discharge planning and patient education

Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of unit RN experience
- NIHSS required prior to start; BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Epic EMR experience within the past 2 years
- Prior travel nursing experience required
- Must be able to start within the next two weeks
- Reliable transportation is required due to limited public transit in the area
